Blue Roses.  Natural impossibility? not anymore. New and improved, and genetically modified... blue roses that can reproduce and grow like any other, but in this colour most unexpected.

I didn't believe people when they said that you rarely saw sun in vancouver. Now I know it to be true, but you learn to cherish  it more, take it in. Truly, the overcast lighting is beautiful.. it gives everything a silvery, dream-like quality. On this day, of this painting, it was one of these days, the tide was out.. but for a moment there was a glimpse out on the pacific horizon, paradise to come; a brilliant blue sky.
